31/12/2009:untitled


Today is my last day intern at Fadason Holdings Sdn. Bhd

Here I would like to thank to FHSBs management that giving me a space to intern in such a great company. Thank you, I will not forget all the kindness, Fadason.

I also intend to show gratitude to all my colleagues here especially my advisor, Mrs. Zaliza Zainal and her assistant, Ms. Suhaina. All the knowledge that I gain now is priceless and thanks to them. Not to be forgotten, Assistant General Manager, Ms. Suzy Chin, Admin Manager Mrs. Jaya Jyoti also Site Manager, Mt. Tiagarajah.

Lastly, I illustrate this appreciation to my project co-coordinator, Mrs. Zaharah who is so concern about my intern. Thank you.
Insyallah, we can meet again in the future.

30/12/2009:last surprised

It’s quite a surprised day.

Why? Because I have been told last minute there’s another important inspection will be held today. And the funny thing is everybody didn’t know about this including my advisor which is also Project Manager and Mr. Tiagarajah, the Site Manager.
Today’s inspection involved DBKL as authority and Indah Water. The inspection today mainly focusing on drain, and water connection system and unfortunately for us, because there’s a problem regarding FHSB’s water pump system.

The water can’t function well because a few days before there’s a float problem happens on the area. The float can’t affect the system but its affect here because there’s some short circuit happened. We try to make the authority understand regarding the problem and as a result they are willing to tolerate this time. As a consequence, we must submit a full report regarding this destruction and make sure it not happens in the future.








29/12/2009:submit new site's plan

Due to our last meeting with Mrs. Azizah from Civil Engeneering Department of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur today I’m intend to submit the approval of site’s plan. The site’s plan is contain Damai Terrace, Fadason Park.


Me and Ms. Suhaina went to her office at DBKL, Jalan Raja Laut and submitted the plan. She satisfied with all the amendment. After meets her, me and Ms. Suhaina went back to office to prepare some stuff related to tomorrow’s inspection.

28/12/2009:the story continued..

Today there’s another inspection held as it promised, as before the authority and all the staff of FHSB that involved join the inspection.

For today, the inspection held in order to conclude the last inspection. An observation continued in every aspect of building. There is also TNB’s staff involved because to check the ground maintenance of the electricity supply. We walk along the project’s site and there are many stories here. The authority seems satisfy with the current progress and we manage to do well in explaining the concept and specification of the building.

As the conclusion, the authority satisfied with the current progress of the shop lot and the work of construction will continued until the dateline. A good story is we also get the building CF officially today.







24/12/2009:shop lot oh my shop lot

An inspection will be held today.

The inspection was held by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) and my team and I also involved. In additionally, it’s not like a last inspection but it is an inspection before the last inspection come about.






The main purpose of this inspection is to check whether the interior division of the shop is qualified or not. So the authority will make the decision after the inspection. In the inspection, there’s also a thing that we can consider as slight problem that awaken from the authority. But the company can do a little amendment of that part in exact last dateline. But the inspection still not finished yet thus it will be continued 28th December due public holiday.

23/12/2009:observe free spaces

As I arrived at the office as always I try to finish yesterday’s work. The whole day I will works outside. This is because I’m intending to complete some observation work that related with the Project Department. Between the developed lands, there’s a space about to be planned to construct another facilities to the resident. The facilities suggested are a motorcycle parking, house guard, big trash places or else. So me and my friend went there to see whether it is suitable or not. In this case, the type of land must also we considered in order to avoid anything that risk happen in the future. Here, I would like to shares with everybody the figure of the land







After complete with taking the picture of it we came back to office and issued it to the Project Manager, Mrs. Zaliza who is also my advisor

22/12/2009:NINE days left for me

Now is 22st December, means it is only NINE days left me here ;(

As you know street lighting facilities is also one of responsibility to developer. After the project is finish the street lighting facilies will be claim and all the bills will charge to the government through the authority. But before it has been took over, the developer must be in charge with anything related it.





So today I asked by my advisor, Mr. Zaliza to go to the local TNB’s which is TNB Kepong to settle this thing. I went there with her assistant, Ms. Suhaina. As we reached there, we went to the main counter and explain what the main purpose we came and then we started talking. After a few sessions, the TNB’s officer guide us very well and there’s a few form needs to be filled up.

From my understanding, the government also can take over the electricity system if all the electric cable is approve. So when we come back to the office, we explain and requested the Site Manager, Mr. Tiagarajah to do a finalized inspection on the system. This thing is important in order to get a feedback from TNB.



For your information, TNB is stands for Tenaga Nasional Berhad and it is the only one company that supplies the electricity control all over the country. That’s all for today.

21/12/2009:inspect me!

There’s a main entrance as you entered the FHSB’s office. The Marketing department has placed a floor plan prototype a few of unit sale or we can say like sampling houses in the glass. So today I’m captured a video so everybody can watch.




For your information, today my lecturer from my college will come to inspect me at the office. So that I’m given some space and quite free today. After arrived, my lecturer come to visit me, asked basic question such as how my intern then he just before to meet my advisor. To be honest, I’m completely nervous and pray everything will be all right. His smiley faces after the meeting ease me so much.
He seems to be very well with the meeting and satisfied with everything. After has permission from my advisor, I take the opportunity to drive him around the project’s site and narrative him about the company and current issues.

Wednesday, 16th December 2009.

At last today I get to work out from the office. My project team and I went to meet a representative consultant at the project site. The discussion was about the building approval and the actual specifications of the building. Other than us, the assistant architect, Mr.Kamal was also there to assist us and to give his opinion. We took a car around the project site to look at the progress.





After the two hours discussion, we headed back to the office. In the evening, i represent my comrade to monitor the electric cable implementation along with Tenaga Nasional Berhad(TNB) staff and site manager, Mr. Tiagarajah. Actually the cable has a problem, which is a wrong cable was implemented. That problem was settled on that day. Then I go straight back home.

14/12/2009:get freshed for monday

Monday, the 6th week.

Today, it’s quite a free day for everyone. Why? Because everybody is doing their own work.

Some of them are preparing a report while others finishing up their work before dateline. As for me, I took this opportunity to update my blog. Other than just typing this updates, I also have some pictures that I took while working here in Fadason Holdings. Nothing much special happened today. I punched out at 6p.m and headed home.

12/11/2009:working on saturday with love

Today is Saturday.
Yesterday, I’m working outside but today most of the time I spent in the office. Because of the sales manager, Mrs. Vivien no longer works here, the sales work became quite difficult to handle. So I hand some help and Im about to make the update of the sales. The sales things hard to understand and I find there’s a lot of number. I hate numbers. Unfortunately, I still intend to help them.
There’s a lot of files have to be update. This is because; the year end is just around the corner so all the account must be update in order to create an annual report. Today I decide to do it as fast as I can and as a final outcome I finished about four projects to be updated.

11/12/2009:friday,love it





Its Friday now and how time flies.
I arrived as usual and punched card at 830a.m. After I had my breakfast, I started to do my works. I reviewed files and jotted down some notes about my internship. After few hours, Mrs.Zaliza had asked me to accompany her to Damansara to settle some problems regarding residence society.



That place is known as KPKT, which stands for Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan. As we arrived there, we went straight to Jabatan Perumahan Negara(JPN), Department of KPKT.





As we waited for about half an hour, finally we get to meet with the person in charged. My adviser, Mrs. Zaliza told her about the problems that the residence facing. The discussion took about one hour. I took the opportunities to learn and gain more knowledge and experiences related the matters. After that, we headed back to the office.


10/12/2009: meeting-day

I’m about to continue my yesterday’s work but I need to follow my project team today. As I told, today will held a meeting between Fadason Holdings and Civil Engineering Department of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur.

For your information, it’s familiarly known as JKA which means Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam. The meeting completely held at Meeting Conferences of Fadason Holdings Sdn. Bhd. In the meeting there are me, Mrs. Zaliza and Ms. Suhaina as a rep of Project Department, Mrs. Vasanthi Ramadass from Legal Department, Mr. Tiagarajah who is Site Manager and the rest is architect fellows. The main topic for this meeting is playground structure and specifications.








As you know, most of the housing area in Malaysia must have basic facilities. The examples of basic facilities are playground, multi-purpose hall, shop lot et al. The sub topic of the meeting is inspection requirement for Taman Fadason services apartment.

So they inform us when is the exact time of the specification, the plan amendment dateline and many more. The meeting in custody well and both parties were agreed. After the meeting Mrs. Zaliza also do a slight wrapping up to make sure me and Ms. Suhaina understand about the current issues.

09/12/2009: Taman Fadason 4A2 project

Hi everyone.

For today, I’m assigned to do some site’s appraisal of Taman Fadason 4A2 project recent progresses. I’m so happy because I love working outsides.hahaha I’m going to project’s site then I’m dispensed to take a picture of the units.
I have been provided a canon’s camera to complete this work. The phases are divided by two units; one semi-finished unit and the other one is finished unit.






08/12/2009:renovation matters


For your information, besides sell and provide houses and apartment, FHSB also offer their customer in custom renovation of spaces they wanted to do. But only terrace houses can be renovated.

For example, if the customer wants to have more bathrooms, the customer can request to FHSB and the company will serve their best in this additional request. There are also some added documentation and different method of S& P agreement.

The prices of unit definitely will increase and usually customer will be inform first about the prices and after they agree to then the development will start.
So for today I have to complete a summary of term and condition for variation on order and renovation work. The image of the renovation document is as below:
