Hello again, everybody. It's a bee-yooo-tiful day for working.

From the early hours, I’m busy helping my mate update a proposal file of FHSB’s project. The file that Imanaged to run was Phase 3 Project. The updates process included re-edit and issue back the development imagery. This type of job exposed me more familiarity a propos of this kind of business.

Ms Zaliza Zainal working out today therefore my work quite lightly today. Maybe she has something to do at DBKL..

As always, Saturday will be a day of less work.

We are the company that joint-ventured with Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur in this field. So any procurement we have to follow the detail from them. At Saturday they're off, thus we use this opportunity to tidy up all our work. I used my time with completing this blog.That's for the day.

04/12/2009:last minute call

Today is Friday. God damn it, I love Friday. When Friday comes, I start planning about the weekend. This weekend I planned to go back to my lovely hometown, Kuantan.

Wooyah can’t wait. There’s also some an interesting activity there with bunch of my bestfriend. They are going to play rugby, enter a competition. I’m excited to watch and can’t wait to go back and join them. It’s party time baby. Hahaha.. Stress makes me crazy! *sigh*

Back to the reality; today I’m doing some summary about the last past surveillances. The summary included all the procedures that I learned and yes I found it is very useful. Never wasted! Suddenly my neighbor, Ms. Chloe wakes me up with a strange paper. Holy s***!!

It is a replacement for Christmas.

Its okay. I wholehearted accepted it.

03/12/2009:life getting busy

Today I’m doing surveys about the past project of FHSB which are phase 2 and 3.

The phase already occupied. The surveys held because we want to know if the population satisfied with the house’s state. We also want to know which part of the house was modified most and the result showed everybody satisfied with us and so far they have no problem regarding the quality of the house development.

02/12/2009-deeper privasation

Hello folks.

Today, nothing complex assignment involved. Today, my activity is more to learn. I learn about a relationship of privasation agreement between mayor and our company, Fadason Holdings Sdn Bhd. The agreement contains conditions of the projects involved. This field of business needs good understandings of knowledge. If does not know the basic things and the right procedures of every stage the work will failure.

That’s the things I did this morning.

In the noon side, there’s few work to do. My project team went to DBKL while I settle up some documentation at the office. At 0300, I went to DBKL Jalan Raja Laut. I went there to hands Ms Zaliza the privasation agreement. She left it at office while rushing this morning.

Then go back and punch card off.

01/12/2009-new month

I’m very keyed up to work today. I’m coming quite early and reach office early in the morning.

Today, I have been told by my supervisor, Ms Zaliza Zainal that we were going out. Hell yeah, I like! I went to DBKL Jalan Raja Laut again. As always, I will go there with them. In the way there, Ms Zaliza briefs me a slight about the main reason we went to DBKL today.

We went there because to do a follow up according address approval of Damani Terrace, 4C phase. Other than that, we also have to inspect our land grant of the Fadason Park. We went to Jabatan Kerja Awam and Jabatan Perancangan Ekonomi. My supervisor, Ms Zaliza Zainal needs to go to Jabatan Perancangan Ekonomi to do a brief about the planning session with DBKL’s people, Mr. Aziz.

After that, three of us went straight to the site of 4C. This is because; we also have Tenaga Nasional Berhad/TNB’s inspection today.

As the result, all requirements have been approved by DBKL and TNB.

26/11/2009-work before holiday

It is a lazy day. Tomorrow is Adha Eid Celebration. Many people want to go back to their hometown due to Adha Eid Celebration. The celebration was celebrates once a year. This year, Im going back to Kuantan, Pahang and gonna celebrates it with my family.

Today there’s a task about guide on registered applicant to submit applications truthfulness of planning in Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur. The job is to make sure the company gets a right guide in order to submit all approval to authorities. There are many parties involve, like Architect, Plan Drawer and Engineer. The developer acts as a main role thus they situated in the middle of this situation.

As developer, we must make sure the Architect, Plan Drawer and Engineer understand the development order or DO in order to follow the right approval from Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. If they can’t follow the structure, the construction must be amended and this will occur another cost. This cost will charge to the developer. So the development order must be studied well by both parties to avoid building restriction from authorities. That’s my work for today and happy holiday.

Hello all.

Here, I’m updated again my blog with daily work at FHSB. For your information, in construction field, there are many major authorities involved. The authorities are like Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Syabas or Jabatan Bekalan Air, Telekom Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional Berhand, Bomba, etc.

Today my works are to studied construction thingy and Bomba relationship. Bomba was one of authorities that we need to get approval and all our building plan needs to submit to them. Any building needs Bomba approval because to make sure the security level of the building not affected during the fire tragedy and to keep the community interests as the main things.

This matter relates with others authority.

23/11/2009-learn how to read a building plan

Begin the new week.

I arrived at office like always. From morning to noon there’s nothing much to do except continue my last daily work.

As I informed before, maybe today I’ll be taught on how to read a building plan. But my supervisor, Ms Zaliza Zainal not show up, she has some emergency things to settle up. Her assistant Ms Suhaina gave me some Building Arrangement Plan to study. It also known as Pelan Susur Atur Bangunan in Malay.

So what I did today are study about the plan generally, get understand all the symbols, measure the scale. Thus, I also updates the plan with signing places. I’m very interested with what I learned today and hopes that it’s all in my head.

21/11/2009-god damn it

Saturday always comes as a casual day. In a casual wear I commence my steps to FHSB.

As you knew, today I’m working as replacement day on Saturday next week. Today’s agenda related to yesterday job. It is about OSC portal and forms of DBKL for Taman Fadason Phase 4C’s Project. First things I did this morning was facebook-ing. HAHAHAHAHAHA

It is kind of pressure on my head right now, but I'm trying not think about that and focus jobs in hands. That’s me now. Okay, after half an hour on facebook, I continue my work with updating my supervisor , Ms Zaliza with the project’s needs. She told me that she will teach me on how to read building plan and im so excited.

Today the office hour finish at 0100. So nothing much to do afterwards.

20/11/2009-surprise turns

Friday always make me happy. Why?? Because it is end of week and time for rest. Yeah! But…

Today, I arrived at office a bit late. I don’t know why but lately in the morning my stomach always throbbing. I found myself uncomfortable and toilet is where I head to. Done!

Today nothing much to do. As in a project team, my team and I still trying to analysis all the form, procedures and requirement of building in order to get the approval. Our jobs are to make sure the planning and development of the project seized well conducting with authority and Malaysia law.

While, me still on the Osc’s online system. With the system, the developer can find the project related to DBKL in past or recently process. From my point of view, this system will make the job become easier. Besides that, the system also a friendly-user system.

About an hour to finish the office hour, I got news from the Admin Manager, Ms Jaya Jyoti that we are going to work tomorrow. Supposedly this Saturday we’re not working due to extend and replace the working hour on Saturday next week so we work tomorrow. So next week, for Eidul Adha we get one extra day and we’re going to replace it tomorrow. Taught I’m going to rest tomorrow! So sad!

Today is a good day. Everything was good. Thus everyone was busy with personal task. After settle up with DBKL’s yesterday, I have a few work to do. The works are:

1. Disclose all the form and information from each DBKL’s department that visited yesterday

2. Research on OSC online portal

3. Do a summary of form needed

So these three things are my main job today. I took a past files and Internet as references. At first, Im not clear enough on how to do the summary but after being informed from my supervisor, I successfully made it and copy it into three pieces. The summary made for Ms Zaliza, Ms Angah and I. This is to avoid redundant data of form and with the summary our work becomes more systematic.

That’s all for today.

18/11/2009-voyage

Today I started my day as usual. I came to the office routinely and check out my schedule for today.

So today, most of times, I’m working outsides. There’s a few department of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur have to visited. First of all, I must check the files and letter that required to be submitted at those associated department. After finish it up, I hand the files to Ms Angah to polish it . Ms Suhaina was Assistant Project Co-ordinator and of course she’s the one who assist Ms Zaliza Zainal, my supervisor.

At 1100 am we went to Jabatan Seni Taman Dan Kawalan Kebersihan Bandar located at Cheras. We went there to get letter of support or known as ‘surat sokongan’ in Malay. To get that letter, there’s a step of procedures. The developer must fulfill the Jabatan’s requirement in order to keep the environment in what it takes.

Later up, we went to Dewan Bandaray Kuala Lumpur’s Head Quarters. The head quarters located around Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur. We do a follow up for Taman Fadason 4C Phase at Jabatan Penswastaan, Jabatan Kerja Awam, Jabatan Perancang Bangunan and more. The reasons we came here were to get a clear guide about steps and procedure needs. My supervisor also went there to met somebody that handle our cases but Im not sure who it is. There are also some amount of form must be complete. The DBKL’s staff was very helpful and nice. They guide us very detail so that we know the right steps. This is because every year they updated their procedures and as developer we must take this matter as serious deal in order to get a righty legal development planning.

At one stage, we also had been informed that nowadays DBKL used OSC online system in order to make the developer easier in checking their project’s status. So we went to the briefing about OSC and my supervisor hope I can study about it. The OSC’s online address is at http://www.epbt.gov.my/osc/ and you guys can view it directly. It is the latest online system provided by DBKL.

So after few hours at DBKL, we came back to office and start to gather information needed for the next stage.

17/11/2009-well,its strata again

Hello to all.

As you know, I have well-read about strata. Before this, I only review basic things about strata and its related stuffs but today there’s a lot about strata that I reveled. Today, my task is to end my understanding about this method.

Even sometimes it’s kind of bored, but from what I learned strata was very important. The strata title was one that we can assumed as a bridge connection between developer and purchaser. For purchaser a strata is exceedingly essential procedures in order they can claim from the developer. A good developer will definitely provide strata title for their customers.

Here I also like to thank to my supervisor because she guided me very well from zero understanding about this stuff to well understanding.

16/11/2009-frosty bite

It’s so frosty out there. It’s so freezing this morning.

Today, I’m in the office for the whole day. Honestly, I’m not well enough today; my body’s so feeble; I wondering why. Arrived at FHSB I practically grasp for a coffee or mocha made by myself. Sometimes Kak Su makes it up for me but I still prefer doing it myself.

Still don’t have precise task to do until noon. For your information, my team and I supposedly have to measure the green zone. As I told you guys before the DBKL require it beneath the project. But we postponed the work because my supervisor Ms Zaliza has something else to do.

Actually today is quite a busy day and there’s a staff from the company’s group keep coming and running and try to solve something. I don’t know what exactly his work but it must be something important.

Ms Zaliza also told me that now maybe we will exertion on JB’s project in the mean time. The detail about the project I don’t know yet. The Taman Fadason’s Project is quite clean now and that’s why we move on. That’s what I know.

Moreover, today Im doing aresearch today about Tapak Cadangan Mutiara Sentul. From what I know from my officemate, the project related to recent development in JB and that’s it for today.

Heloo.

At Fadason the second and fourth week on Saturday is a working of half day time. As its not a formal day, everybody wearing a casual appearances. Today we're not going out. We updating and preparing document for next week's task. Nothing pressure for today and we enjoy the day. Im working on facebook today. Sometimes we need to be honest aite? *sigh*

12/11/2009-inspection day

Everything is fine today so I go to work with smiley on my faces.

Arrived at office as always and got a lot of job to be taken care of today. First of all in morning, Ms Zaliza who was my supervisor has told me that she want me to join her in inspection session today. The inspection held Damai Terrace 2, 4C section of Taman Fadason Kepong. It will be attend by Project Manager of FHSB Mr. Thigarajah, DBKL’s staff, Alam Flora’s people and others related to.

To make you all clear, I will explain the basis of this thing. The project of Taman Fadason is a joint project between FHSB and Dewan Banadaraya Kuala Lumpur in order to mounting this area. The company will will contribute 20% of unit price sales of building to the DBKL. DBKL’s management will freely let developer build up the building based on the development order or DO. The DO has been granted in the meeting with authority management of the area before this. As the result, the inspection held in order to check whether the project’s required with what’s promise in the DO.

The inspection also takes place to checking up whether the company use legal approach or not in built up the building. Thus they also check up about the drains; water flow management and green zone part. Green zone means the grass area that required in the area. After they doing the inspections, only few things need to personalized. We at the project’s department also required to submit the grass’s measurement. The measurement process maybe will be done next week. End of the day.
